A $4 million dollar fake!!!

A Mayan relic sold for $4.1 million dollars at an auction on Monday in Paris. An official from the Mexico National Institute of Anthropology and History contacted the auction house to advise them that is piece and 66 others were fakes. For some reason the statue was still sold.

I would think if someone was going to pay that kind of money for something they would have their own experts come in and look at it. Then again, this buyer may have more money than they know what to do with.
