For those of you who did not know, AT&T did the same thing; however, they have since gone to a tiered structure which was the death of the unlimited data plan. While I could have been an unhappy customer, I was one of the lucky ones who was grandfathered in; I digress though. While it technically is still a rumor, and tomorrow's event could in fact be about something else, nobody in their right mind is going to be a pessimist when it comes to - this - rumor - this - time.
You should check out the in depth video regarding this topic by the way on The Hodge Podge page!
Now what are we to make of the fact that while it may look like a duck and walk like a duck, I mean...it's got to be a duck right? Not necessarily. The iPhone to the millions of Android users out there is going to feel pretty much like it would feel if we went from VHS directly to Blu-Ray.
Yeah, the iPhone and Apple's iOs is that awesome. For realsies.
Aside from the argument as to which technology used in both phones is superior (CDMA/Verizon or GSM/AT&T), I will let you be the judge based on the comparison detailed in the link below.

There is one advantage to the GSM-iPhone that's got me NOT wanting to jump ship for Verizon's "alleged" better coverage as an iPhone supplier. After all, we don't know yet - it's to be seen.
Nonetheless, the advantage for me is the mere fact that I can check my e-mail, browse the internet, receive picture text messages - ALL WHILE TALKING ON MY iPHONE 4 CELL PHONE! Verizon cannot offer this, and while it may seem like such a minor reason to love a phone, once again, for me it makes all the difference in the world. I cannot even count the countless (redundant much?) times a week I use this awesome feature.
If you are an iPhone owner, I'd love to hear your stories and your thoughts on this feature by way of comment please!
So back to watching the BCS National Championship I go, and anxious much am I (yoda?) to hear Verizon's conference tomorrow. Before I go though, I do want to hear from all of you out there. I want to know the answer to this question please...
Will YOU be leaving AT&T for Verizon's iPhone should it really happen?
If not, why not?
That's all iGot.
I think Verizon launching the i-phone is wrong timing. They should have done this a year ago. Now, it is basically like "So what?" The people who really wanted an i-phone found a way to get it and I will be interested to see how many people from Verizon get the i-phone when it has it's pre-sale Feb 3. Not enough to make me switch (although I happen to be a carrier of both AT&T and Verizon).
