I came across this article today which talked about the 6 expenses we as consumers should never put on Credit Cards. I immediately clicked on it! Of course, I like many other Americans in this country am in debt. Nothing too out of control, but I have debt none-the-less.
So here are the 6 expenses according to Yahoo! Finance you should never charge:
1. A big Tax Bill: I've never done this, but I'm sure some people have. It's easier to set up payments if you owe, and most of the time the interest is lower.
2. A Gambling Spree: Never done this either, not sure why anyone would.
3. College Tuition: I would stick to a traditional loan. Less interest than credit cards, and probably more lenient as well.
4. Plastic Surgery: LoL. Not sure why, but it was on the list.
5. A lavish Wedding: Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! My advice, don't do it.
6. A trip for two: I've done this one and totally regret it. It's better to find a travel agency that will take payments, or just save up until you have enough.
There you have it. Hopefully you never charge any of these six things.
