Egypt!

Well I guess it's safe to say that the song, "Protest Like an Egyptian" will not be hitting the radio waves anytime soon!  We thought we knew how to riot in L.A., but we were wrong.  "Ain't no Riot Like an Egypt Riot!"

Just to drop some quick facts: The protests in Egypt were caused due to the people's disdain towards the current President Hosni Mubarak, but what turned protest into riots was the house arrest of Mohammed ElBaradei.  Mohammed ElBaradei is a long time opponent of President Hosni Murbarak, and apparently a loved individual by many of the protesters.

Here is where it get's real crazy....due to the protest internet connection was shutdown within the country.  Some cities have implemented a curfew between 6pm to 7am.  Lastly, the country is also cracking down on Social Media.

The country seems to be under control now, but these riots could lead to a chain reaction.  What does that mean?  Of course, the U.S. would have to get involved.  Why?  The U.S. and Egypt have been long time allies and this could affect U.S. interests within the country.  Here we go again!

I know I don't speak on behalf of everyone out in the world, but the U.S. is starting to look more and more attractive everyday.  We are very fortunate to live in this country.  Can you imagine having to be home by 6pm, with no internet connection, and no FaceBook?  That's just crazy!

I just hope they can deal with their issues, so it doesn't affect the rest of the world in a negative way.
